CCHS Candidate Announcement

I am excited to announce, that I am running for re-election for Manhattan Representative to New York’s Citywide Council on High Schools (CCHS). I’ve spent the past two years supporting parent concerns directly with Department of Education (DOE, aka NYCPS), co-sponsoring and contributing to a dozen adopted policy resolutions, and advocating for Manhattan high schools, including needed capital improvements.

All students deserve a safe, high-quality, and joyful school. I am running for a second CCHS term to champion improving high school admissions’ process, expanding academic high-dosage tutor recovery programs, adding AP opportunities, encouraging more school sports and activities, and enhancing college and career readiness with greater financial literacy, internship, technology, and ePortfolio focus.

I kindly ask for your vote to be your CCHS Manhattan Representative.

Thank you, Benjamin Morden
